Chris Lighty Dies AT 44

Hip hop executive Chris Lighty was found dead at his South Riverdale apartment at around 11:30 am this morning. There was a gun found next to him, and the cause of his death is reported as a self-inflicting gun wound to the head. Law enforcement sources said Lighty, who divorced his wife Veronica last year, may have been dealing with financial struggles, including owing about $5 million to the IRS. Lighty founded Violator Management in 1989 and helped artist such as Busta Rhymes, Mariah Carey, 50 Cent and many more get their career started. R.I.P.

We’ve been out the loop too long GoJu nation. There have been a lot of adjustments. We updated the website. Taking on a couple of new responsibilities. And have decided to step up our game as we grow into the year 2013. What does this mean for GoJu Nation? That answer will be arriving in the upcoming months GoJu nation. But for now we have a blog to get done and that means this week on da charts has returned. It’s been approximately 4 months since we posted and that’s way too long for GoJu nation to wait.
